Un nuovo ciclo di appuntamenti tenuti da studiosi/e della danza e un cast di performer d’eccezione.
I Ballets Russes, compagnia indipendente dedita al balletto contemporaneo in Occidente con le grandi stelle dei teatri zaristi, tra il 1909 e il 1929 hanno fatto l'andatura sul fronte di una nuova creatività, unendo più arti, visive, musicali, coreografiche, al massimo livello di raffinatezza in piccoli pezzi d'autore/i sotto la guida del Sergej Diaghilev, direttore artistico ambizioso e volitivo. Innovando la tradizione e promuovendo l'avanguardia, restano un riferimento irrinunciabile ispirando rivali, concorrenti e successori. Ancora oggi, si invoca e si imita il modello dei Ballets Russes a indicare, per la danza, una linea di intenti d'alta classe che la nobilita, con la sua bravura peculiare, a fianco di tutte le altre arti maggiori nell'empireo dell'estro inventivo.
